Irene McCann
Irene works from her studio just outside Glasgow. She is an artist and past committee member of Paisley Art Institute, and an artist member of Glasgow Society of Women Artists. She works predominantly in oil on linen.
Her work mainly consists of still life, everyday domestic items naturally observed through her own personal and imaginative perception. This is a constant and continuous development. Inspiration comes from her love of colour, shapes and texture.
Irene’s work is in the public collection of East Renfrewshire Council, Nova Pane Group Manchester, Smith and Williamson Solicitors Glasgow, as well as many private collections.
