Kit Strathairn

Kit lives in Aberfeldy. She trained as a nurse before marriage and children and tried her hand at every sort of craftwork, from basket-making to pottery. Eventually, she discovered City & Guilds courses in Machine Embroidery and Patchwork & Quilting, which changed her life!

“As a Textile Artist, stitch and colour are now my passion. I also paint watercolour, and have found that to be a complementary skill. I have written articles for magazines, exhibit and teach a wide variety of classes all over the country.”
